I wrote and produced this song while I was coming down from getting off birth control, and you can DEFINITELY tell. It's very dark, very lucid-dreamy. These are the original demo vocals because I was in such a weird state of mind and couldn't replicate it's strangeness once I was recovered from getting off birth control.

Dream Angel is about loving someone but not needing to be someone's everything in life. I really hate songs that push forward the "I can't live without you" narrative because it's harmful for anyone in a relationship to think that. There are literal signs up in Planned Parenthood red flagging that shit as abusive behavior.

When you love someone, you should want them to see the world and be able to experience everything on this plane of reality—not just you.
