Dangerous Fun is one of the oldest songs on this album, having been made in probably 2014. It has gone through 3 different sets of melodies and lyrics before it landed here!!

I originally sent it to my friend I met on Twitter @CeliaInside, who is an artist in NYC. She wrote lyrics for the first iteration of the song about a girl she was dating that would come in and out of her life frequently.


I re-wrote the lyrics a few times and changed the song structure a bit, but the pre-choruses are still her original lyrics, and the story of the song is based on her story, mixed in with some of my experiences with bad lovers.

Fun fact!: I originally had a lyric from Mariah Carey's "Heartbreaker" in the breakdown, but was scared to record it because a large record company would literally squash us to death. Although maybe I should have because the free press from the lawsuit would have been good for our careers.
